The Chirico Trail is a steep short hike. It’s just under 2 miles to the point. There were some paragliders but I couldn’t get pictures of them because my camera died – bummer! But I did get to enjoy the beautiful views of Mt. Rainier and Lake Sammamish!
This was a super busy hike and the trail was very narrow. There was not one moment when I wasn’t running into or dodging people. We probably saw about 20+ dogs there and they were all very well behaved! Umi said hello to every single dog and then we quickly moved along because it was so crowded. So if you’re looking for some alone time in the forest, this isn’t the hike for you =) I usually like hikes that aren’t so crowded but I really did enjoy the view! I will probably be back one day and try to catch some evening photos!
Take exit 17 from I90. Follow Front St south for about 3 miles. Parking lot is on the left. Trailhead is across the field from the parking lot.
